During an OSHA inspection walkaround, who besides an employer representative may go along with the inspector?
A representative authorized by the employees.

- A representative authorized by the employees ✔
- Only the company's lawyer
Why: 29 CFR 1903.8 gives both the employer and the employees' authorized representative a chance to accompany the inspector. If there is none, the officer talks with a reasonable number of workers.
Huh, didn't know that: Since 2024, the employees' representative can be a third party when the inspector finds good cause.
