What does an OSHA HazCom pictogram look like?
A black symbol on white, inside a red diamond frame.
- A yellow triangle with a black symbol
- A black symbol on white inside a red diamond ✔
- A blue circle with white letters
Why: HazCom pictograms are squares set on a point, with a black hazard symbol on a white background and a red frame. An empty red diamond with no symbol is not allowed.
Huh, didn't know that: Each pictogram may appear only once on a label, even if two hazards call for it.
