Most counterbalanced forklifts rest on how many support points, forming the stability triangle?
Three points, even on a four-wheel truck.
- Four
- Two
- Three ✔
Why: Most counterbalanced forklifts rest on three points: the two front wheels and the pivot pin of the steer axle. That makes the stability triangle, even on four-wheel trucks.
Huh, didn't know that: If the combined center of gravity moves outside the stability triangle, the truck may tip over.
Why did the forklift stay balanced? It knew its triangle basics.
