Why: Very small employers are partly exempt from keeping injury and illness logs. They still must report a death, in-patient hospitalization, amputation or eye loss to OSHA.
Huh, didn't know that: OSHA or the Bureau of Labor Statistics can still tell a small employer in writing to keep records.
