SESK: Stuff Everyone Should Know · sesk.info/pb-out-call-see-space
When can you call a ball out?
Only when you clearly see space between the ball and the line.
- When you see space between the ball and line ✔
- Whenever you are not sure
- When your partner thinks it was close
Why: You must clearly see a gap between where the ball lands and the line. If you cannot, the ball is in.
Huh, didn't know that: Spectators must never be asked to help with a call.
I only call it out when I see daylight. My eyes need a little space too.
