SESK: Stuff Everyone Should Know · sesk.info/pb-side-out-scoring
In traditional side-out scoring, who can score points?
Only the serving team.
- Either team, every rally
- Only the receiving team
- Only the serving team ✔
Why: In standard pickleball, you only score when your side is serving and wins the rally. Losing a rally on serve passes the serve along instead.
Huh, didn't know that: Games are normally played to 11, win by 2.
In pickleball, you have to serve to deserve a point.
