What is the VFR cloud clearance requirement inside Class B airspace?

Clear of clouds, with 3 statute miles visibility.

  1. 500 feet below clouds
  2. Clear of clouds ✔
  3. 1,000 feet above clouds

Why: Class B needs only 'clear of clouds' because every aircraft inside is under ATC control and separated. Flight visibility must still be at least 3 statute miles.

Huh, didn't know that: Class B surrounds the busiest airports, and the FAA describes its shape like an upside down wedding cake.
