SESK: Stuff Everyone Should Know · sesk.info/sunscreen-fifteen-minutes
When do you put sunscreen on before going outside?
About 15 minutes before sun exposure.
- After you feel hot
- About 15 minutes before ✔
- Only if you already burned
Why: FDA says apply 15 minutes before sun exposure so the sunscreen has time to work. Waiting until you are pink is too late.
Huh, didn't know that: An average person needs about one ounce, a shot glass, to cover the body.
Why did the kid bring a ladder to the beach? To reach the high tide.
