What movement rule defines breaststroke arms and legs?
Simultaneous arms and legs.
- The arms and legs alternate left and right
- The legs use a dolphin kick
- Both arms move together, and both legs move together ✔
Why: In breaststroke, both arms move together and both legs move together. Alternating arm or leg movements, such as a flutter kick, are not allowed.
Huh, didn't know that: One single butterfly kick is allowed after the start and each turn, before the first breaststroke kick.
Why don't oysters share? Because they are shellfish.
