Can one volleyball player hit the ball two times in a row?
No, the same player may not hit it twice in a row.
- No, someone else must touch it first ✔
- Yes, if it stays on their side
- Yes, but only on the third hit
Why: A player may not make two hits in a row. A teammate has to touch it in between. The main exception is a block, which does not count as a hit.
Huh, didn't know that: The referee signals a double contact by raising two fingers.
Why did the volleyball player only hit the ball once? They did not want to repeat themselves.
