The 100-hour inspection limit may be exceeded by no more than how many hours while en route to the inspection?
10 hours, and the excess counts toward the next 100 hours.
- 5 hours
- 25 hours
- 10 hours ✔
Why: Section 91.409(b) allows the limit to be exceeded by not more than 10 hours while flying to a place where the inspection can be done. The excess time is included when computing the next 100 hours.
Huh, didn't know that: The grace period applies only to getting to the inspection, not to continuing normal flights.
