SESK: Stuff Everyone Should Know · sesk.info/epa-who-issues-card
Who issues your Section 608 certification card?
The approved certifying organization, not EPA.
- The EPA itself
- Your state HVAC board
- The EPA-approved organization that certified you ✔
Why: EPA does not issue certification cards. The company or organization that tested and certified you does, and that is who to contact to replace a lost one.
Huh, didn't know that: EPA also does not maintain a database of all certified technicians.
How do you know the thermometer was good at school? It has a lot of degrees.
