Two hunters reach a fence. After both unload, what happens next?

One holds both guns while the other crosses, then the guns are passed over.

  3. They toss the guns over first

Why: With both firearms unloaded, one hunter holds them while the other crosses. Then the guns are handed across and the second hunter crosses. Nobody climbs with a gun in hand.

Huh, didn't know that: If help is needed, the unloaded guns can be laid on the ground while one hunter holds the wires apart.
