- It renamed light-sport aircraft as sport aircraft
Why: MOSAIC removed the 'light-sport aircraft' definition from section 1.1. Aircraft limits now live in Part 22 and sport pilot limits live in Part 61. Sport pilots are no longer tied to the old definition.
Huh, didn't know that: Sport pilots can now fly some aircraft that were not legal light-sport aircraft before.
What did the definition say when it was removed? 'I always did feel a little too heavy.'
